SCOTUS Goes All In on Sports Betting

A chat about sports betting with John Holden

This month on the Scholars of the Game Podcast, we will be taking a look at sports betting legalization. Our introduction episode has John Holden of Oklahoma State Univeristy going over (1) the history of the act that made sports betting illegal (PASPA), (2) the ruling of the SCOTUS that left it up to the states (Murphy v NCAA) and (3) what is the future of sports betting. The future includes what the states are doing to legalize it and what possible corruption scandals await.

More can be found about John Holden at Oklahoma State’s faculty webpage. His paper mentioned in the episode can be found in the GSU Law Review. Please feel free to reach John Via Twitter.
